On October 1, 2015, our cat Liam died from from complications due to uncontrollable diabetes.  We had been treating Liam since 2013 with insulin injections in order to keep him healthy and comfortable; unfortunately, as time went on his blood sugar levels began to fluctuate wildly which caused his health to degrade drastically. Our thanks go out to our veterinarians at The Morrisville Cat Hospital who were able to keep Liam happy and healthy for as long as possible.

On February 8, 2005, our cat Casey died from what we found later to be feline endomyocarditis (EMC).  This condition causes sudden and often unexplained deterioration of the heart and led to the sudden heart and lung problems that Casey experienced during the last two days of her life.  Casey was only 7 years old.  Our thanks go out again the to people at the NCSU Veterinary Teaching hospital for all the work they did to try to save Casey.  Special thanks go to Dr. Margaret Booth who was Casey's cardiologist.
